Regal Car, Van & Truck Rental (“Regal”, “we”, “us”) provides vehicle hire and related services. This notice explains how we use personal information when you visit regalrental.co.uk, contact us, make or discuss a booking, or complete a pre-arrival check-in.
The website is operated by Green Hawk Limited (company number 11879332), registered at Unit 3, Britannia Industrial Estate, Dorset Road, Sheerness, Kent ME12 1DQ. Contact us at info@regalrental.co.uk or 0800 0567 101.

Providing information requested for a booking and driver check is normally necessary for us to assess or supply the hire. If it is not provided, we may be unable to confirm the booking or release a vehicle. Marketing choices are optional and do not affect your hire.
Our online booking service at regalrental.securewebbookings.com is provided by Prohire Software Limited (company number 03131767). Our customer booking records are held in England. CS One (company number 09105542) created the website backend, while we manage the website and our own marketing. Payment card details are tokenised; we do not see full card details.
Where needed for the purposes above, information may also be handled by the payment provider, website/backend provider, insurers or insurance administrators, licence-check providers, roadside-assistance providers, professional advisers and authorities where required by law. CS One, which built our website backend, and Prohire Software Limited is the owner of out management software, which provides our booking system, can access customer personal information in those systems. Neither can access customers’ payment details. No other Regal group companies have access to that information.
Our website may link to third-party services. If you choose to contact us on WhatsApp, your use of that service is also subject to its own privacy information. Sending a document by WhatsApp is optional, you can instead bring the required originals to the branch, subject to your booking instructions.
Our booking system records are held in England, and we do not transfer those records overseas. If you contact us using WhatsApp, information associated with the conversation may be processed outside the UK by WhatsApp/Meta. WhatsApp explains the safeguards it uses for international transfers in its UK Privacy Policy.
We keep information for no longer than needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including any legal, accounting, insurance or dispute requirements. The periods vary by record type:
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access to your personal information, ask us to correct it, request deletion or restriction, object to some uses, or request a portable copy. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You can object to direct marketing at any time.
