September at Regal Rental: More Ways to Hire Across Kent and Cumbria

A Busy September Across Regal

September has been a month of practical improvements at Regal Car, Van & Truck Rental.

We have made it easier to arrange vehicle hire in Penrith, added clearer guidance for Carlisle customers and developed our commercial vehicle information.

Across our Carlisle, Chatham, Maidstone and Sheerness branches, our teams have kept cars, vans and trucks ready for the journeys and jobs ahead. Our partners at Regal Moving & Storage and Bronco Fleet Management have been busy too.

Keeping Customers Moving

Every hire depends on the work happening behind the scenes. Our branch teams check, clean and prepare returning vehicles so they are ready for their next customer.

Whether someone needs a car for a journey, a van for moving home or a truck for work, our focus remains on a straightforward handover and helpful support throughout the hire.

Vehicle Hire Delivered to Your Door

This month we introduced a dedicated Penrith vehicle delivery and collection service. Customers can arrange for a car, van or truck to be brought to an agreed home, workplace or other suitable address, then collected at the end of the hire.

Every handover must be confirmed in advance. Penrith does not currently have a walk-in Regal branch, so there is no need to travel to an assumed depot.

Making Car and Van Hire Easier to Plan

We expanded our Carlisle van hire information to explain one-day and weekend hire, van sizes and collection from Site 37, Millbrook Road, Kingstown Industrial Estate.

Pre-arranged collection may be available from 6am, and Sunday returns can be agreed in advance. We have also added clearer information for customers travelling from Brampton, Longtown and nearby communities.

Our Carlisle car hire page now makes it easier to compare manual and automatic options, daily and weekly prices, and collection arrangements.

Prices, early collections and station arrangements are subject to availability and current hire terms.

More Information for Bigger Jobs

We added dedicated information for 18-tonne box truck hire and tractor unit hire, alongside our existing 7.5-tonne truck options.

These larger vehicles are quoted individually. Availability, driver entitlement, operating requirements and insurance arrangements must be confirmed with our team before any hire is agreed.

We have also been speaking with removal firms, logistics operators, estate agents and other local businesses about repeat hire and flexible fleet support.

Our Carlisle Story in the News & Star

We were pleased to see Regal featured in the News & Star, sharing the story of twin brothers Stephen and Matthew Davolls and the growth of our family-run vehicle hire business in Carlisle.

It was a chance to introduce more local people to the team behind the branch and the service we are building across Cumbria.

Great Reviews Across Our Branches

September has brought some great reviews from customers across our Carlisle, Chatham, Maidstone and Sheerness branches.

People have highlighted clean vehicles, easy bookings and the care shown by our local teams. Hearing that our service made a difference means a great deal to us.

After an unexpected vehicle fault during a Chatham rental, our team worked with Bronco Fleet Management to arrange a replacement and help the customer continue their journey. It is one example of how our people respond when a hire does not go to plan.

Our Partners Have Been Hard at Work

Vehicle hire is one part of helping people and businesses keep moving. Our partners at Regal Moving & Storage and Bronco Fleet Management have also been working hard throughout September.

Thank You for Supporting Regal

We are forever grateful to everyone who hires from Regal, takes the time to leave a review or recommends us to somebody else. Your support means a great deal to our family-run business and to the people working hard at each branch.
