Luton Van Giveaway Terms & Conditions

1. The promoter

The promoter is Regal Car, Van and Truck Rental Carlisle.

The promotion is administered from Site 37, Millbrook Road, Kingstown Industrial Estate, Carlisle, Cumbria, CA3 0EU.

2. Promotional period

1. The giveaway opens on 17 September 2026.
2. Entries close at 8:00pm on 1 October 2026.
3. Entries received after the closing time will not be included.
4. The winner will be selected after the promotion has closed and will be contacted by Regal Rental Carlisle.

3. Eligibility

1. The giveaway is open to UK residents aged 18 or over who can collect the vehicle from Regal Rental Carlisle.
2. The person driving the vehicle must be aged between 25 and 72 on the date of hire.
3. The driver must satisfy Regal Rental’s usual driver, identification, licence, insurance and rental eligibility requirements.
4. The driver must provide a valid driving licence, two acceptable proofs of address and a valid DVLA driving licence share code before the hire.
5. Entry into the giveaway does not guarantee that the entrant or any proposed driver will qualify to hire or drive the vehicle.
6. Employees of Yello Hawk Limited, members of their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with the administration of this giveaway may not enter.
7. No purchase is necessary to enter.

4. How to enter on Facebook

To submit a valid Facebook entry, entrants must:

• Follow the Regal Rental Carlisle Facebook page.
• Like the original giveaway post.
• Comment on the original giveaway post and tell Regal Rental what they would use the Luton van for.

Entrants are invited to tag a friend and share the giveaway post to help spread the word. Tagging or sharing is appreciated but is not a compulsory condition of a valid Facebook entry.

Only interactions with the original giveaway post published by Regal Rental Carlisle will count. Comments left on copies or unofficial shared versions of the post will not count.

5. How to enter on Instagram

To submit a valid Instagram entry, entrants must:

• Follow the official Regal Rental Instagram account.
• Like the original Instagram giveaway post.
• Tag a friend in the comments.
• Share the original giveaway post to their Instagram Story and tag Regal Rental.

Entrants with private Instagram accounts must send Regal Rental a screenshot of the Story share by direct message before the closing time so that the entry can be verified.

6. Entry limits and invalid entries

1. One valid entry per person is permitted on Facebook and one valid entry per person is permitted on Instagram.
2. A person who completes the entry requirements on both platforms may therefore receive a maximum of two entries in the draw.
3. Multiple comments, tags or Story shares on the same platform will not create additional entries.
4. Entries that are incomplete, automated, submitted through fake accounts, fraudulent or otherwise inconsistent with these terms may be removed.
5. Entrants must not tag accounts that they know are fake, inactive or unrelated to them.

7. The prize

1. There is one prize consisting of one standard day’s hire of a Luton van from Regal Rental Carlisle.
2. The standard prize hire period is from 8:00am on the agreed collection date until no later than 7:00am the following day, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. The prize includes unlimited mileage, VAT, insurance subject to driver eligibility, and roadside assistance.
4. The vehicle shown in promotional material is illustrative. The precise vehicle, make, model and specification supplied will depend on availability.
5. The prize does not include fuel, damage, fines, penalties, insurance excesses, optional extras or additional services.
6. Any additional driver, extra hire day, delivery or collection, out-of-hours arrangement, optional extra or additional service requested must be paid for separately at the applicable normal rate.
7. The vehicle must be collected from and returned to Regal Rental Carlisle unless a separately paid arrangement is agreed in advance.
8. The winner and driver remain responsible for complying with the rental agreement and for all charges arising from fuel, loss, damage, late return, fines, penalties, misuse and any other matter not included in the prize.

8. Using the prize

1. The prize must be used no later than 31 December 2026.
2. The hire date must be agreed with Regal Rental Carlisle in advance and is subject to vehicle availability.
3. The winner is advised to provide more than one preferred hire date. A specific vehicle or date cannot be guaranteed.
4. The prize cannot be used on a date when the required vehicle is unavailable.
5. The prize is non-transferable, cannot be resold and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
6. If the winner does not intend to drive, they may nominate one driver. The nominated driver must satisfy all applicable driver and insurance requirements and sign the rental agreement.
7. Failure to use the prize by 31 December 2026 will result in the prize expiring without compensation or replacement.

9. Winner selection and notification

1. One winner will be selected at random from all valid Facebook and Instagram entries received before the closing time.
2. The winner will be contacted only through an official Regal Rental social media account.
3. Regal Rental will not ask the winner to provide payment or bank details to claim the standard prize.
4. The provisional winner must respond within 48 hours of being contacted and provide the information reasonably required to verify their identity and eligibility.
5. If the provisional winner does not respond within 48 hours, cannot be verified, does not meet these terms or cannot provide an eligible driver, Regal Rental may withdraw the prize and select another winner at random.
6. The winner’s name or social media username may be announced on Regal Rental’s Facebook and Instagram accounts.
7. The promoter’s decision is final, except where an error must be corrected to ensure that the promotion is administered fairly.

10. Vehicle hire requirements

1. The driver will be required to sign and comply with Regal Rental’s standard rental agreement.
2. All usual licence, identity, address, driving-history and insurance checks will apply.
3. The promoter may refuse to provide the vehicle if the proposed driver does not meet the applicable rental or insurance requirements.
4. The driver must comply with all laws, vehicle restrictions and instructions provided during the hire.
5. The vehicle must not be used by anyone who has not been approved and named on the rental agreement.

11. Changes, cancellation and availability

1. If circumstances outside the promoter’s reasonable control make it necessary, the promoter may suspend, amend or cancel the giveaway or substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value.
2. Any change will be limited to what is reasonably necessary and will not unfairly disadvantage entrants.
3. The promoter is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete or not visible because of technical faults, privacy settings, platform restrictions or connectivity problems.

12. Personal information

1. Personal information supplied in connection with the giveaway will be used to administer the promotion, contact the winner, verify eligibility and arrange the prize.
2. Information will be processed in accordance with Regal Rental’s applicable privacy policy and legal obligations.
3. Entry into the giveaway does not automatically subscribe an entrant to marketing communications.

13. Facebook and Instagram

1. This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Meta.
2. Entrants release Facebook, Instagram and Meta from any responsibility connected with the administration of the promotion, to the extent permitted by law.
3. Entrants must comply with the applicable platform terms and community standards.

14. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Subject to that qualification, the promoter will not be responsible for losses caused by events outside its reasonable control or by an entrant’s failure to comply with these terms or the rental agreement.

15. Governing law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Entrants may bring legal proceedings in the courts applicable to their place of residence where consumer law permits.
