Penrith delivery and collection: We can arrange delivery of your hire vehicle to your home or workplace in Penrith and collect it when your hire finishes. This is a pre-arranged service, with no walk-in branch in Penrith. Additional charges apply.
Carlisle railway station drop-off and collection: Arriving by train? We can arrange to meet you at Carlisle railway station with your hire vehicle and collect it from the station at the end of your hire. Please provide your arrival and return times when booking so we can confirm the arrangements. Additional charges apply.
All delivery, station handover and collection services must be agreed in advance and are subject to availability. Message us on WhatsApp to arrange your handover.

Any daily equivalent is the full seven-day total divided by seven, not the one-day rate. Weekend hires and extensions use the same standard vehicle rates. The seven-for-five offer applies to an eligible consecutive seven-day hire; longer bookings are quoted for the complete period.

You must have your own credit or debit card for payment. No security deposit is required for standard self-drive hire. The £10 booking fee per hire day is credited towards your hire and is non-refundable. If you cancel, you lose that booking fee. Date changes add £10 per hire day to the hire on the new dates. Check your confirmation for the full cancellation terms and any other applicable charges.

Bring two proofs of address dated within the last 3 months in addition to the licence, e.g. a utility bill, bank statement or phone bill. (Digital copy accepted)
Drivers must be aged 25–75; maximum 69 for vehicles over 3.5 tonnes. Driver approval and applicable insurance conditions apply.
You must have no major convictions on your driving licence. If you have more than 6 points, or points for any non-minor offences, please call your local branch to check that we can cover you on our insurance. Points may need to be referred to the insurance company and may increase the insurance excess, or in some circumstances prevent the hire.
