Checked against the published vehicle tariffs and CMS on 5 November 2026. The seven-day total applies to seven consecutive days on an eligible hire. Any daily equivalent is the full seven-day total divided by seven; it is not the one-day rate. Weekend hires and extensions use the same standard vehicle rates. Longer periods and specialist agreements are quoted for your dates. These are standard category guide rates; confirm the vehicle, dates, optional extras and complete quote with your branch.

Approximate SWB planning dimensions: 2.45 m long × 1.68 m wide × 1.40 m high. These are category guide dimensions, not a specification for every electric model. Farizon vans and incoming Ford E-Transit Custom vans have different load spaces and payloads; confirm the allocated vehicle for essential measurements, charging and range.

Electric van hire
in Chatham: FAQs

Useful questions about charging, suitability and handover.

Which electric van can I hire?

Regal lists an electric automatic SWB category, with the Farizon SV Base L1H2 as an example. Confirm the available vehicle, specification and load space for your dates.

How far can I drive between charges?

Ask for the expected usable range of the allocated van for your journey. Load, temperature, speed and heating can affect range. Plan suitable charging stops with a reserve; no fixed mileage range is promised here.

How do charging and returns work?

Before booking, confirm connector compatibility, the supplied cable, collection and return charge levels, and who pays charging costs. Ask the team to explain any return-charge requirement or charge before accepting the hire.

Can I use a home or workplace charger?

Confirm that the charging equipment and parking arrangements suit the actual van. Check connector type, charging access and the time available. Do not assume a domestic socket or a particular charger is suitable.

Can an automatic-only licence be used?

The team must check that your licence entitlement, age and insurance eligibility cover the allocated vehicle before confirming the booking.

Where is the handover?

Collect from Unit 6A at Dockside Outlet Centre, next to M&S. Our team helps customers from Chatham, Rochester, Gillingham, Rainham and Strood. Call or WhatsApp before enquiry visits because staff may be moving vehicles between depots. View local handover details.

Would a different van suit my journey better?
